BMW 7 E38 pre facelift (1994-1998) - Upgrade kit for halogen projector headlights

This BMW 7 E38 retrofit kit contains everything you need to swap your old worn out halogen projectors for powerful new bi-xenon (both low- and high-beam xenon) projectors. With the custom-made mounting bracket and supplied hardware, it makes retrofitting quick and easy. And, most importantly, it will take your E38 to the next level – just check out the test pictures! Providing a light output unmatched by most OEM projectors, the new Aharon Optimus TR Mini is the perfect retrofit for your headlight. The design is a development of the proven Mini H1 bi-xenon projectors. Featuring a crystal-clear 2.5” lens, it uses D2S bulbs, so you can use budget or high-quality Xenon HID bulbs. Because it is a bi-xenon projector you will also have a high beam from the HID Xenon projector (and the original halogen high beam reflector). The height adjustment will keep working as usual. And as the cherry on top: with all the necessary wiring supplied, you also get an upgrade from halogen to bi-xenon. The result is incredibly bright lighting – a huge improvement in both high and low beams!

Such a light output would not be possible without efficient ballasts, and the included Aharon digital ballast has – as opposed to many other aftermarket units – been tested to generate a full 35W. The Aharon comes in a rugged and extremely compact housing perfect for retrofitting, and its in-wire starter warms xenon bulbs in as little as five seconds. It is also Canbus-proof, so you won’t get any bulb failure readings on your display. This ballast is the perfect complement to the projectors and to the included wiring, which connects directly to the original wiring. A high beam splitter is also included, making for easy integration of the bi-xenon mechanism. Power supply is strong, steady and reliable.

The Aharon ballast ensures that you get maximum possible light output. Lastly, this kit provides every single part that you will need for retrofitting. With the regular bulbs, you will have basic performance, with the XB version you will have a better performance, but for absolute top performance, we advise that you upgrade to one of the premium Osram bulb options.
